“The Dead Sing for the Living” is a poetic and political meditation on erasure, memory, and resilience in Palestine. Through a haunting roll call of names and a litany of what has been destroyed homes, schools, trees, birds, and dreams. The film bears witness to lives lost and lives under siege. Moving between repetition and prayer, silence and lament, it asks: what remains when the world turns away, and who carries the memory forward? A lyrical 16mm visual elegy where grief and rage intertwine.
