Experience Nicolas Roeg’s haunting 1973 classic Don’t Look Now as it was made to be seen – projected from a rare 35mm film print, followed by a live Q&A with Matthew Holness and Mike Muncer.

Following the tragic drowning of their young daughter, Laura (Julie Christie) and John Baxter (Donald Sutherland) travel to a gloomy Venice to recover. But encounters with two mysterious psychic sisters and glimpses of a small figure in a red coat draw the grieving couple into an increasingly unsettling world of supernatural premonitions.

Renowned for its revolutionary editing, hypnotic atmosphere and unforgettable score, Don’t Look Now remains one of the most influential psychological horror films ever made.

Film critic, broadcaster and movie obsessive Ali Plumb brings his brilliantly nerdy Untitled Film Quiz Project to Cinema City for a suitably fun finale to Norwich Film Festival 2026.

Forget your standard pub quiz. This is movie trivia designed for the big screen, with visual rounds, film puzzles, video challenges, music, prizes and questions spanning everything from Hollywood blockbusters and animation to cult classics and cinematic oddities.

Expect Lego minifigures, movie-themed visual puzzles and plenty of opportunities to either shout “I know this!” or quietly insist that you definitely knew the answer.

Ali is a familiar face at Norwich Film Festival, having hosted the NFF Awards, and now he’s back to put Norwich’s film knowledge to the test.
