Two of Hollywood’s loneliest creatures form an unlikely bond. Nabulio, a food delivery robot, dutifully navigates Hollywood and all of its oddities until he is kidnapped by the eccentric, unhoused King Barry. The two embark on a volatile overnight journey, uncovering a connection beneath their surface-level differences. The Coronation is a neorealist story of modern-day Hollywood, its forgotten residents, and the value of being seen.
About the Director
After sharing notes and dining hall swipes at the University of Pennsylvania, The Kinoki Bros set out for Los Angeles to get their foot in the door. As a creative trio, they enjoy telling stories about the increasingly absurd world around them. Their debut film, THE CORONATION, had its World Premiere at the 2026 Atlanta Film Festival and International Premiere at the 2026 Warsaw International Film Festival. Other accolades include: 2024 NRDC Black List Climate Storytelling Fellowship and 2026 PROOF Film Festival.
