About the Director
CC Wade's (brothers Michael and Paraic Morrissey) reputation for making surreal and ambitious music videos is evidenced in their Fat White Family promo ‘Work’. Frequent UKMVA nominees and winners, the Londoners’ reel includes striking films for bright talents such as King Krule and Michael Kiwanuka as well as the Raindance Best Music Video-winning ‘Feet’ for Fat White Family. Acutely timeless, CC Wade’s craft is reminiscent of filmmaking icons Powell and Pressburger. The brothers, who also perform in the band LL Burns, have just finished post-production on their forthcoming short ‘Gobbl’, while developing further film projects that continue to bring to life their progressive approach to directing.
