Lost on the side of a deserted road, someone walks painfully through gusts of wind and rain. Affected by the discovery of the lifeless body of a squirrel, he decides to continue his journey into the forest. The calm appearance gradually reveals a cracked vision of a world where strange mechanisms made of wood and metal stir among the trees. The whole forest seems to experience the death of this animal, assimilating life in a great vibration, leaving only water and dust behind.
