Madina Yelikbayeva is a self-taught stop-motion animator and director from Almaty, Kazakhstan. With over a decade of experience creating stop-motion animation for social media campaigns for both local and international brands, she has developed a distinctive visual language that combines meticulous craftsmanship with emotionally resonant storytelling. Her work explores themes of empathy, responsibility, and the emotional depth of childhood perception. AKTOS marks Madina’s debut as a short film director, representing a transition from commercial projects to independent filmmaking.
