During a therapy session, a woman describes her fantasies and the meaning of love and desire. As these fantasies deepen, guilt, shame, and buried trauma resurface. As her therapist is revealed as her vision of ‘ideal beauty’- embodies the freedom she craves. Caught between her desired self and her inescapable past, she must confront the memories she’d rather escape.
About the Director
Alisha Masurkar is a Communication Designer based in Mumbai. A graduate in Fashion Communication from NIFT Bangalore, she has worked with Production Designers like Shruti Gupte on various ad campaigns, film and series projects.
Alisha was part of 'Corona Cha Tamasha' production team- a live theatre act showcased at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Her short documentary film 'Lavanya' was featured at international film festivals, winning 3 Best Student Film awards and was screened at 19th IAWRT Asian Women’s Film Festival. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s in Film & Video Communication at National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad.
