About the Director
James Cockrell is a Romanian American writer/director and recent graduate from the London Film School. Having moved to the UK in 2016 for his BA in Acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, James quickly shifted gears into directing. He cites his love for movement, clown and mask as his bridge from acting to directing. His years as an actor have shaped his storytelling to focus on complex characters within challenging socio/political stories resulting in his work being reality based dramas often inspired by historic and current events.
