Synopsis: Two people tune into each other across the noise of the world. When the signal fades, what remains?
A story of connection built not on certainty, but on echoes, pauses, and the quiet rhythm of shared moments. A relationship told through the subtle shifts of presence and absence, of intimacy and distance, and the traces we learn to hear when someone is gone.
About the Filmmaker: This film is a collaboration between Toffee Hammer, animator and illustrator Holly Warburton, and composer Jack Ledger-Dowse.
Toffee Hammer is a team of six creatives and filmmakers that specialise in telling human stories. We conceived the project and collaborated closely with Holly to bring it to life through animation. Holly is an illustrator and animator from Bath. She is most inspired by everyday scenes that she captures in her daily sketchbooks, which she uses as reference material for her artworks. Together, the team created a film where voice, image, and sound align on the same frequency: love, loss, and quiet resilience.
