Synopsis: During a heatwave in Belfast, transgender man Owen returns to the flat of his on-off-again lover Seán after taking a pregnancy test.
About the Filmmaker: Caleb J. Roberts is a queer-trans screenwriter and director from Belfast, North of Ireland. He holds an MA in Film from Queen’s University Belfast and is a NETWORK@LFF, X-Pollinator, and Trans+ On Screen DarkRoom alumnus. His work has been screened and awarded at numerous international film festivals and received broadcast distribution on Channel 4 with Film4.
Caleb’s work focuses on masculinity, queerness, class, and place/lessness. He is in funded development with Northern Ireland Screen on his debut feature film ‘Under the Cover of Night’, initially developed at The DarkRoom and pitched at BFI Flare 2025.
