Synopsis: Polly’s been dumped and she’s done something drastic – she’s cut out her own heart. Literally.
About the Filmmaker: Emma is a screenwriter/director represented by Independent Talent. She has worked in television drama development for a number of years before turning to writing and directing full time. She’s developing original comedy/horror ideas with Long Boat Pictures & Birdie Pictures. TV writing credits include CBBC sitcom NOVA JONES and BBC’s RIVER CITY. Her short work includes micro musical ‘DONNA’, screened at EIFF ‘19 and GSFF ‘23 and she has just completed her directorial debut short film which premiered at the British Shorts festival in Berlin. She was a BBC Scottish Voice of ‘23 and has just been selected onto the PILOT scheme for 2024. Her horror feature film is currently in development with Short Circuit.
